I have had this product for about 2 weeks now and would rate it as good. Good graphics and sounds. Plays very well. No problem on installation, took about 15 minutes. The only negative I would give it is the game is slow…takes up to 20 seconds to load the game and about 10 seconds to load each slot machine. Note..I also have Blackbeards Revenge and also Ghost Town and each of them has the same “problem”. It occasionaly crashes (the game not my computer) when trying to load the POPCORN game.

The game was awesome! The Dream world odds is not as fun as it used to be but the games have variety and I definitely enjoyed it.

I wanted to give Phantom one more chance after their Blackbeard’s Revenge mess from last year. Unfortunately, what I got from this new release is the same ole, same ole… installation troubles, no help from Phantom’s support, then when I finally did get the game up and running it was just the more of the same… same types of machine action and gameplay. Doesn’t seem like they put much effort into adding anything new and exciting into this game… just swap in new art and throw it back out to the public. Needless to say, another disappointment.

I bought this thinking Phantom is making up for the disasterous Blackbeard’s Revenge. This is just as bad. I tried installing on three different types of Windows…XP wouldn’t even read the disc, Vista loaded it but the graphics are all jacked up, and Windows 7 would install the program but it wouldn’t run the game. Looks like these Reel Deal games have really gone downhill. It’s a shame because I used to buy all of them. Key words being “Used to”…

The good? The slots are the best looking and funnest to play. Graphics are great, though they flicker. Bonus games set this apart. No one makes a better PC slot. IGT doesn’t give enough of their good slots to the PC.
The bad? You can’t just install the game these days. After installing, I ran it on my Vista system with 2 GB RAM. Game was stuck at some character design deal. I Then check for updates 3 or 4 times because it kept crashing on the update process. Then had an issue with the screen not fitting my screen. I finally changed a setting for video resolution and then I could finally play the game.
Reel Deal just isn’t intuitive for most people to get going. Games should work out of the box. I’ve never had issues with other games installing like with Phantom’s games. I was a huge fan and did the online thing for a while, but the typical buggy software, as well as online server, just really turns me off to it now.
Back then, it was excusable because they were a younger company, but the improvements don’t happen. Buying a game that is released by Phantom is much like paying to do Beta Testing.
